The Jordaan

Our store on Elandsgracht is located in the Jordaan, possibly the most famous and romantic neighborhood in Amsterdam.

Once a typical working-class area with a colorful history, it is now extremely popular with visitors and locals for its picturesque canals, small shops, and cozy streets and alleys.

At the end of Elandsgracht are the 9 Streets, located in the Grachtengordel, Amsterdam’s UNESCO World Heritage area. The streets connect the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht, and Singel.

Since the 1990s, the entrepreneurs in these streets have presented themselves under the name De 9 Straatjes.
